The most valuable thing I learned from Mark Foehringer was how to be a good performer. Of course I honed things like line, virtuosity, clarity ... things associated with good technique, as well as expanding my artistic interests under his direction. But I learned that it isn't how "good" a dancer I am, but how good a dancer I am to work with that matters. This has been a key factor in building a successful career as a dancer.
Katherine Wells, Professional Dancer with Robert Moses' Kin, formerly with Lar Lubovitch Dance Company
I have so much respect and appreciation for Mark and what his program has to offer. He and his faculty of instructors prepared my daughter so well for college dance. She had the tools she needed in both dance etiquette and technique. She was invited to attend every program she auditioned for, and now is thriving. I couldn't have asked for a better experience.

I highly recommend this program for dancers who want to pursue contemporary dance on the college or professional level. My son studied with Mark Foehringer Dance and the other instructors here for two years, and it was one of the best things he did. He would not be the contemporary dancer he is today if it were not for this program. If you live in the Bay Area (N. CA), check it out.
